# My Journey in the Stock Market

Because my recent returns have risen to the top few percent on Longbridge, more people have started following me. So I wanted to write down some thoughts.

Everyone probably sees a lot of people or 'gurus' on different social media platforms or stock investment platforms talking about how they make money. But honestly, their screenshots might be photoshopped, or they're just posting the single best trade out of many, hiding all the losing ones. But here, there's platform badge verification; the entire portfolio's return can't be faked.

And here, I've also gotten to know many truly skilled investors, so we can learn from each other.

Getting back to myself, I'm actually a veteran stock trader. I've been investing in Hong Kong stocks for over 15 years, and US stocks for over 5 years. I've made big money before, but I've never lost big money. Instead, I lost it in another way—a slow, draining loss. Over a few years, it was almost wiped out.

It was only in the last year or two that I truly started to grow, escaping the fate of relying solely on luck or a bull market to make money.

To be continued in the comments..
