# 06.04 US Stocks: SPX has already broken through 7580 intraday, the next step is to confirm a reversal by breaking through 7600. Today's operation is to open positions in MSFT and NVDA August 21 CALLs.

I also posted before the market opened last night, saying that SPX's 7580 level is crucial. It has already held above that level during the session. The next step is to hold above 7600 to confirm a reversal.

With the market at high levels, I've been a bit complacent myself these past few days (not strictly following the rules in the chart below). Apart from taking profits on some of the options for MSFT and NVDA after making gains, I didn't take profits on options for a bunch of other small caps, especially AVGO and CRWV, where I gambled on earnings with profits and failed.

A pullback is normal. Don't get emotional. Think about what you can do right now. The most important thing is to make back the profits in the future. Don't fantasize about executing trades perfectly; it's unhelpful and meaningless.

For this pullback, first watch the most stable stocks, NVDA and MSFT. If they continue to correct, we can take a contrarian position on long-dated options to make a wave (I did contrarian long-dated options for MSFT, AMZN, and NVDA in late March this year).

I'm still very bullish on software stocks in the later stages, like NOW, MSFT, etc.
