Wah Shun's Malaysia Production Base Officially Commences Operations, Optimizing Diversified Capacity Layout and Advancing to a New Stage of Business Growth

Leading electronics product manufacturer **Wah Shun Company Limited** ("Wah Shun" or the "Group") (Stock Code: 833) announced the official commencement of operations at its production base in Penang, Malaysia. This new facility is a significant milestone in the Group's strategy for a diversified manufacturing layout, marking the expansion of production capacity outside Mainland China and further strengthening the production network in Southeast Asia.

The Penang factory covers an area of approximately 60,000 square feet, equipped with 12 production lines, with a monthly capacity of 250,000 to 300,000 units. As an Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) production base, the factory primarily produces industrial electronics, environmental control equipment, and electronic power modules for the international market. The additional capacity not only expands the Group's overall manufacturing scale but also meets the continuously growing market demand, providing a solid foundation for future business expansion.

This commencement follows the completion of several strategic deployments by the Group in 2025, including the acquisition of manufacturing operations in Penang, Malaysia, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Entering Malaysia marks the Group's first establishment of a production site outside Mainland China. After completing the acquisition of the Penang factory in August 2025, the Group commenced expansion and upgrades, introducing advanced equipment and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and quality management levels. The facility currently produces irrigation sensors, thermostats, security equipment, and lithium battery packs.

**Mr. Lam Yin Kei, Chairman and Executive Director of Wah Shun**, stated: "The Penang factory plays a key role in driving the Group's strategy to build a more diversified manufacturing network. Coupled with the expansion of our Vietnam operations, we are continuously strengthening our production capabilities and enhancing the flexibility of our overall supply chain. This helps to further bolster the Group's resilience and adaptability, enabling us to support our customers' business development more effectively in the rapidly changing global environment."

**Mr. Lam Chi Tai, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Wah Shun**, added: "The Penang factory is steadily ramping up production capacity and has already received new orders from existing and new customers. With the completion of the production line expansion and system upgrades, capacity will become more abundant to meet future demand. The Group is also evaluating the establishment of another production base in Malaysia with similar capacity to drive the next phase of business growth."

Malaysian government representatives, Wah Shun board members, and management held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new local factory.

Wah Shun's Malaysian production base is equipped with 12 production lines, with a monthly capacity of 250,000 to 300,000 units, further expanding the Group's manufacturing scale to meet the continuously growing customer demand.
