description: "First, a question: After Micron's earnings report last night, the stock rose over ten points. Did you make money? If the answer is "no," don't rush to slap your thigh in frustration. Let's calmly break it down and see exactly which step got stuck.First scenario: You had no idea Micron's earnings would be so good. You didn't know how strong the memory sector was in Q3—Micron's quarterly revenue was $41.46 billion, a staggering year-over-year increase of 346%, with net profit reaching $28.24 billion, up nearly 14 times year-over-year, and gross margin soaring to 84.9%. If you haven't even seen these numbers, it's normal you didn't profit. The information wasn't in your hands, so the opportunity naturally had nothing to do with you.Second scenario: You knew the earnings would be good, but still didn't make money.Knowing ≠ doing. There are two things missing in between:One is position management. You're fully invested in AI hardware, with no cash on hand, no hedging tools. You hold on during the dips and can't add more during the rallies. Without room to maneuver, you can't seize even the best opportunities. The other is expectation gap. Market expectations were for revenue of $35.84 billion, but the actual was $41.46 billion, exceeding by $5.6 billion. What you need to judge isn't "whether the performance is good," but "whether the performance is so good that it exceeds everyone's expectations." This judgment is what the capital market truly rewards.Third scenario: You knew the performance was excellent and have been holding all along without moving. Then I'd say—it's actually right that you didn't make money on this move.Because it's not that you didn't understand, but that you chose a bigger logic. Micron has signed 16 long-term supply agreements, locking in $22 billion in customer cash deposits and financial commitments, with remaining performance obligations of approximately $100 billion, covering 2026 to 2030. The company expects HBM supply tightness to persist beyond 2027, with Q4 revenue guidance at $50 billion (±$1 billion) and gross margin expected to further improve to 86%.To chase a "small profit" of over ten points, giving up the subsequent sustained upside potential—that's picking up sesame seeds but losing a watermelon. True alpha comes from faith in the logic and the compounding of time. So, stop dwelling on it.Micron is just the beginning. Marvell, SanDisk, SpaceX, and Zhipu are still to come. Every stock will have its moment like this. What you really need to cultivate isn't "catching it every time," but "thinking clearly about what you want."Which level you're on determines which level of money you make. By the way, the biggest beneficiary of Micron's stellar earnings isn't Micron itself, but SanDisk, GigaDevice Innovation, and other memory stocks. It might seem counterintuitive, but think about it a bit deeper and you'll know why. I'll share more tomorrow.$Micron Tech(MU.US)$Sandisk(SNDK.US)$GIGADEVICE(03986.HK)"

- **deville · 2026-06-25T15:55:01.000Z · 👍 1**: Bought double Micron at 807 last night, woke up to find the situation changed, cleared at 1240 today.
- **阿修AX** (2026-06-25T16:05:14.000Z): Awesome plus, you completely captured the gains from the second scenario.
- **deville** (2026-06-25T16:06:35.000Z): Delayed by SpaceX, only cut 33% and went to Micron, but I'm already quite satisfied.
- **糖果秘密 · 2026-06-25T15:18:19.000Z**: 🤣
- **阿修AX** (2026-06-25T15:24:06.000Z): My complete emotional journey before and after Micron's earnings report 🤣 I thought it was quite interesting to share.
- **糖果秘密** (2026-06-25T15:24:45.000Z): Did you write this yourself?
- **阿修AX** (2026-06-25T15:27:23.000Z): The data was found using AI, but the emotional journey is my own. AI doesn't have such emotions; it doesn't experience any emotional fluctuations over whether it makes money or not.
- **新用户_aciiF · 2026-06-25T15:15:18.000Z**: No need for AI massaging, this market is so big, a couple of hype posts aren't going to do much.
