# $RKLB has returned to the $100 level, what's the outlook for the future market?

Insider selling has made me lose hope in $Rocket Lab(RKLB.US) . Unexpectedly, just before the founder was about to sell up to 5 million shares, $Rocket Lab(RKLB.US)'s acquisition of Iridium completely reversed the stock's downtrend, and the price has now broken through $100. This acquisition is very beneficial for $Rocket Lab(RKLB.US), instantly making it a player in the satellite communications industry with the advantage of low-cost rocket launches.

With the stock price back in triple digits, let's examine if the options data has changed its status?

When deeply fallen stocks rebound, we often see a significant rise in implied volatility. Longs that have been suppressed for a long time will rush in at the first sign of hope.

However, we haven't seen this phenomenon in $Rocket Lab(RKLB.US)'s recent rebound. The strong price rally and positive news only produced a small rebound with general volatility.

Options for next week and even further out appear relatively calm in their reaction to recent fundamental developments.

This chart shows that longs have not taken significant action due to the recent acquisition news. Overall, they remain above the zero line. Despite the strong price rally, the mainstream of options trading still leans slightly towards buying puts.

The chart above shows the correlation coefficient between stock returns and volatility. The correlation coefficient also surged to a high positive correlation when the stock price peaked.

However, during the subsequent sharp decline in stock price, the correlation coefficient did not show a significant drop. Instead, due to its sensitive nature, we even observed the correlation coefficient continuing to rise during the recent strong price rally.
