# Xiaomi Foundation donates 10 million yuan in cash to support disaster relief efforts in Guangxi and other regions.

Guangxi and other regions have recently been hit by consecutive heavy rainstorms and strong winds, with some areas experiencing severe disasters such as dam breaches and landslides. Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) $XIAOMI-W(01810.HK) announced that the Xiaomi Foundation has donated RMB 10 million in cash to fully support disaster relief efforts in Guangxi and other affected areas.

Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi Group, said on Weibo: "Standing together through thick and thin! Joining hands in disaster relief, we are with you!"

The RMB 10 million donation will mainly be used to support emergency assistance, transitional resettlement, and subsequent post-disaster reconstruction work in the affected areas. At the same time, the Xiaomi Public Welfare Platform has launched the "Building a Safe Home with Love" project, gathering support from Mi fans and caring individuals from all sectors of society for the disaster-stricken areas.

Xiaomi will continue to monitor the latest developments of the disaster and pay high tribute to all frontline personnel involved in the rescue and relief efforts.
