# [Rewards] Scan the short pressure on 20 stocks in 30 seconds | Short Pressure Radar is live

Before a short squeeze breaks out, the signals are usually there to be found: elevated short interest, positions that can't be covered quickly, a short sale ratio climbing day after day — and on top of it all, a share price quietly grinding higher.

The hard part is seeing them together. US short interest is published by FINRA every two weeks, with a 5–8 trading day lag; HK data comes from HKEX and is available the next day. Two different reporting standards, plus price action on top — checking them name by name eats up time.

So we built a Skill that pulls all of it onto one page — **Short Pressure Radar**.

## Two ways to use it: Single Stock, Pool Scan

It combines data from four Longbridge CLI commands into a single 0–100 **squeeze score**, so you can quickly gauge how much short pressure a stock is carrying.

**✅ Single Stock**: enter any US or HK ticker to see its short % of float, days to cover, daily short sale ratio, and 20-day price change

**✅ Pool Scan**: a preset list of US and HK names ranked by squeeze score — the ones under the most pressure right now, at a glance

The higher the score, the more complete the squeeze setup: plenty of short positions, and a price that is already climbing. A low score means the ammunition for a squeeze simply isn't there.

## One score, to read how much short pressure there is

The squeeze score is a **deterministic formula** — a weighted combination of three pieces of public data: short % of float, 20-day price change, and days to cover.

A quick demo: scan a batch of US names and a ranked table comes back in well under a minute. Names with both a high short ratio and a strong month get flagged high pressure; something like Apple, where the short ratio is very low, comes back low pressure. HK works the same way, and the data is fresher.

"High pressure" does not mean "buy". All it does is put the data in front of you — the judgement stays with you.

- **机魂微悦 · 2026-07-29T11:08:05.000Z**: $Meta Platforms(META.US) Meta's short interest is increasing while the stock price is rising—the favorite combination for a squeeze, yet the score is only 15. This is mainly because the trading volume is large, making it easy for shorts to exit.I wonder if there's any risk of earnings beating expect
- **AI前沿观察 · 2026-07-29T11:01:27.000Z**: $Microsoft(MSFT.US)  Microsoft is holding about $3.6 billion in short interest, but the squeeze score is only 17—accounting for just 1.24% of the float, which can be unwound in 2.85 days. When looking at short pressure, the amount doesn't matter; the proportion and exit width are what count.
