# Shein's IPO process accelerates: Compliance implemented, core asset attributes are promising

In the first half of the year, the Hong Kong stock market's IPO sector experienced a long-awaited boom; entering the second half, the momentum continued. Driven by valuation recovery and positive resonance with capital preferences, market demand for allocating to scarce growth targets has continued to heat up.

As one of the landmark IPO projects in the Hong Kong stock market's consumer cross-border expansion track in 2026, cross-border e-commerce giant Shein uploaded its post-hearing document package on July 26, formally entering the final procedures before listing. As the world's third-largest fashion retailer, leveraging its extreme flexible supply chain and massive global user base, it has grown into the most competitive top-tier player in the cross-border fashion sector.

The implementation of compliance not only marks a 阶段性 conclusion to years of regulatory scrutiny but also fundamentally reshapes market trust coordinates. Corporate governance and information disclosure now meet the basic requirements of listing rules. The comprehensive presentation of supply chain compliance and ESG issues in the prospectus has established a verifiable information foundation in relevant dimensions; the rigid constraints of continuous disclosure after listing will further strengthen verifiability and transparency. The listing itself is a manifestation of governance upgrade—financial transparency, improved compliance, and brand internationalization will further open up space for strategic cooperation with international brands and long-term allocation by institutional investors.

At the business level, Shein has evolved into a "self-operated + platform" dual-engine model, achieving net revenues of $41.847 billion in 2025. The upgraded "SHEIN Xcelerator" launched in 2025 opens digital infrastructure to global designers and small-to-medium manufacturing enterprises, transitioning from "selling goods" to "selling capabilities." Its valuation model is expected to shift from traditional retail to a tech platform. With the release of capital momentum post-listing, continued investment in global supply chain infrastructure, and deepening integration between platform ecosystems and industrial belts, Shein is poised to accelerate the exploration of incremental space in emerging markets while consolidating its position in European and American markets.

Viewed through the lens of industry tracks, data from Frost & Sullivan shows that the global fashion industry scale reached $1.7 trillion in 2025 and is projected to increase to $2.0 trillion by 2030; among them, the online fashion market is expected to grow to $792 billion by 2030, with online penetration rates continuing to rise. Leveraging its global brand influence and complete supply chain closed loop, Shein is well-positioned to fully benefit from this trend.

The 叠加 of multiple factors including increased information transparency, deepened platform strategy, and high growth in the track makes Shein's long-term growth logic clear. With fundamentals continuously improving, it possesses the potential to grow into a core asset of the Hong Kong stock market.
