$BASICSEMI(09971.HK) rose nearly 10 points and led the pack, while $Rambus(RMBS.US), $Vishay Intertech(VSH.US), $Amphenol(APH.US), and $United Microelectronics(UMC.US) saw only slight gains or remained basically unchanged 😸. The Hong Kong stock in power semiconductors showed plenty of elasticity, whereas the US stocks in interface IPs, passive components, connectors, and mature process technologies reacted much more tepidly. Both are tied to semiconductors, but small caps rush at the slightest sign of movement, while large caps are still grinding slowly in place.
