I accidentally found an old photo from 11 years ago, dated July 28, 2015. Over these 11 years, the Nasdaq has multiplied by 5, while the S&P 500, Dow Jones, and Nikkei have all tripled. Meanwhile, Hong Kong A-shares have basically remained stagnant. Like the fate of most people in the East, no matter how hard you try, you still end up back at square one. Ten years ago, my take-home pay was 3,500; ten years later, I remain true to my original aspiration 😋😋
