# FMS Storage Summit Opens, New Signals Emerge in the AI Storage Track

The FMS 2026 Flash Memory Summit officially opened today and will run until August 6. The first day was packed with major announcements, including SK Hynix and SanDisk releasing the first industry standard for HBF, establishing a new storage tier between HBM and SSD to directly address the "memory wall" pain point in AI computing power; Samsung and SK Hynix also successively shared their next-generation AI storage architecture plans.

Such cutting-edge technology news can easily trigger short-term capital fluctuations in the sector, but technological implementation and supply chain maturity still take time, so there is no need to rush to chase pulse rallies.
