IPO Lucky Shot

Come back to review: my first time chasing highs ended in a 惨 (miserable) failure, but luckily I didn't buy much and cut losses quickly 🤣. Learned a few lessons: 1. Never open a position when there's already accumulated significant gains, massive positive news, or especially good earnings reports, particularly when the price is at a high point and continuing to surge wildly. Better to miss out than to chase. 2. No stock, no matter how strong its fundamentals, can rise infinitely. In the long run, prices fluctuate around value, but don't ignore trading factors in the short term. SK Hynix in South Korea gave us a big lesson: places with many retail investors are easily targeted for slaughter; once the trading direction reverses, it creates a strong self-reinforcing trend. 3. Appropriately reduce portfolio concentration. Allocate more to beta-yielding assets. Don't always obsess over generating excess alpha; surviving longer is what matters most.
