Tested the Sell Call Covered Strategy in a simulated account. Didn't expect it to recover like this, going from -2000 to +3500. It's great to have large capital.
NBIS underlying stock: 150 shares with an original cost of 206 (trapped). Day trading brought the cost down to 139. Then sold the 0918 220 Call. The rationale was that after rebounding from 145 back to 230, the gain was already very large, so I sold that call, essentially betting against further upside;
So when holding a stock that is trapped, as long as it's not a small-cap stock, there are many ways to break even, such as:
Sell Put + Buy Call at low levels (operate when it can't fall further)
Sell Call at high levels (operate when it can't rise further)
