$Summit Therapeutics(SMMT.US) rose nearly 5%, a rare bright spot in the pharma sector recently. $Moderna(MRNA.US) saw a small gain, while $Johnson & Johnson(JNJ.US) and $WUXI BIO(02269.HK) were mostly flat; $WUXI APPTEC(02359.HK) dipped slightly.
The entire sector is in this state lately: no major clinical readouts, no policy news. Large caps are stagnant, while small caps occasionally pop based on their own data windows.
I hold pharma mainly as a ballast. When it rises, I get green-eyed watching others double; when it falls, I'm just glad my account still looks presentable. Amid recent daily red streaks in AI hardware, this position is the first time I've felt the allocation was truly worth it ☺️
