# How can users in Hong Kong open an account using online transfers?

For users in Hong Kong, opening an account via online transfers involves specific procedures and requirements. Here are the steps for account opening.

Step 1. Open the Longbridge App, navigate to *Portfolio* to access the account opening application page, and then click *Open an Account*.

Step 2. Upload your identification document. Once it is confirmed, click *Next, Personal Information*. Fill in the *Personal Information*, upload proof of address, and then click *Next, Employment*.

> Tips:If you do not have your identification document with you at the moment, click the blue text labeled *Click to upload later*, as shown in the figure above. Fill in the other required information, and then upload your identification document after the *Risk Disclosure* page.

Step 3. Enter your occupation information. The email address will be used to receive important information, such as statements. Please ensure that the information you have entered is correct before clicking *Confirm*.

Step 4. Fill in *Investment Experience* and *Confirmation of Compliance*.

Step 5. Read and acknowledge the *Risk Disclosure,* Click *Next, Confirm* to confirm that all the information you have entered is correct, and then click *Next*.

Step 6. On the authentication page, link your Hong Kong bank account(s) registered under the same name. Next, fund your Longbridge HK account,  transfer a minimum of HKD 10,000 or USD 1,500. After transferring, upload the proof of remittance, then click*Completed, Notify Us*. Proceed to *Next, Signature*.

Step 7. Sign in the blank space, and then click *Done* to submit your account opening application.

Step 8. Please be patient after submitting your account opening application. We will review your application as soon as possible. You can check the review results on the *Portfolio* page of the Longbridge App, through App notifications, or via the email address you provided when opening your account.
