# Understanding virtual asset indicators

The following presents the core indicators of virtual assets, including 24-hour price/volume, the Committee, and market cap performance and supply. This information enables you to swiftly grasp an asset's activity level, volatility, and supply-demand situation.

**24-hour highest**

The highest price generated by an asset in the past 24 hours.

**24-hour lowest**

The lowest price generated by an asset in the past 24 hours.

**24-hour quantity**

The total number of trades of an asset in the past 24 hours.

**24-hour volume**

The total trading volume of an asset in the past 24 hours.

**24-hour range**

24-hour range refers to the percentage between the difference of the day's highest and lowest prices relative to the previous closing price.

Formula: 24-hour range = (24-hour highest – 24-hour lowest) / Previous closing price \* 100%

**Bid-Ask ratio**

The bid-ask ratio, also known as the order ratio, iis an indicator that measures the relative strength of buy and sell orders over a specific period.The ratio's value ranges from -100% to +100%. A value of +100% indicates that all outstanding orders are bids; a value of -100% indicates that all outstanding orders are asks. A ratio of 0 means the volume of bids and asks is equal. 

Formula: Bis-Ask ratio = (Buy order volume – Sell order volume) / (Buy order volume + Sell orders volume) \* 100%

**Circulating volume**

The number of currencies or tokens issued by an asset.

**Circulating market cap**

Formula: Circulating market cap = Circulating volume \* Asset current price

**Maximum supply**

The maximum number of cryptocurrencies. Different cryptocurrencies have different supply limits. For example, Bitcoin has a maximum supply of 21 million coins, while Ether has no maximum supply limit.

**Maximum supply market cap**

Formula: Maximum supply market cap = Maximum supply \* Current asset price

Note: For cryptocurrencies with no maximum supply limit, this field is left blank.

**Circulation rate**

Formula: Circulation rate = Circulating volume / Maximum supply \* 100%

Note: For cryptocurrencies with no maximum supply limit, this field is left blank.
