The United States begins construction of the world's first commercial nuclear fusion power plant
According to a report by Newsweek on December 19, the Federal Fusion Systems Company, supported by technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, announced on the 17th plans to build the world's first commercial nuclear fusion power plant in Chesterfield County, Virginia. This ARC nuclear fusion reactor plant will be located in the James River Industrial Park and aims to revolutionize clean energy production. The power plant is expected to generate 400 megawatts of electricity, enough to power approximately 150,000 households or large industrial facilities
