GOLDCUP announced that its holding subsidiary, Wuxi Tongli Electric Co., Ltd., was found to have 268 hourly average values of non-methane total hydrocarbons at the DA6 emission outlet exceeding the discharge limits permitted by the discharge permit due to abnormal online waste gas emissions, constituting a violation of pollutant discharge concentration limits. The Wuxi Ecological Environment Bureau has ordered Tongli Electric to immediately rectify the illegal behavior and imposed a fine of RMB 232,000.
