# CITIC Metal appointed Guo Aimin as Chief Scientist

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CITIC Metal (601061.SH) announced that the company's board of directors received a written resignation letter from the company's director, deputy general manager, and chief engineer Guo Aimin on December 31, 2024. Due to age and work reasons, Guo Aimin applied to resign from the positions of deputy general manager and chief engineer.

In light of Guo Aimin's rich experience in technological innovation and outstanding industry influence, the company has decided to appoint Guo Aimin as the company's chief scientist, continuing to lead the company's technological initiatives and be responsible for niobium technology promotion and related technological innovation work
