# Midday Review: The three major indices all fell over 1% in the first half of the day, while the consumer sector rose against the trend

The indices collectively adjusted in the morning, with the three major stock indices each falling over 1% at midday. In terms of sectors, the consumer sector rose against the trend, with DoBe Group hitting the daily limit up of 20%, and WFDSJ, Hualian Dep, and others also reaching the daily limit. The food and beverage sector followed suit, with Hei Zhi Ma, Hao Xiang Ni, and Liang Pin Pu Zi hitting the daily limit during trading. The clothing and home textile sector was active, with Rong Mei Co. hitting the daily limit of 20%, and Rui Yi Group, Ge Li Si, and others also reaching the daily limit. The large financial sector collectively adjusted, with brokerage and insurance stocks leading the decline, and Guo Lian Securities experiencing significant losses. The semiconductor sector weakened with fluctuations, led down by Chang Chuan Technology. The military equipment concept declined, with Guang Qi Technology hitting the daily limit down. Overall, more stocks rose than fell, with over 2,900 stocks increasing. On the market, retail, community group buying, and Pinduoduo concept sectors had the largest gains, while insurance, securities, and China Shipbuilding System sectors had the largest declines
