# Ausun Pharm's controlling shareholder proposed to spend between 50 million to 100 million yuan to repurchase the company's shares

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Ausun Pharm (603229.SH) announced that on January 14, 2025, the company's board of directors received a letter from Mr. Zheng Zhiguo, the company's controlling shareholder, actual controller, chairman, and general manager, proposing to repurchase the company's shares. Mr. Zheng proposed that the company repurchase a portion of its issued ordinary shares (A shares) through the centralized bidding trading method on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The total amount of funds for the repurchase will not be less than 50 million yuan and not exceed 100 million yuan, and the repurchased shares are intended to be used in the future for implementing equity incentives and/or employee stock ownership plans
