# Chongqing: This year, 163 urban village renovation projects will be rolled out

On January 24th, the official WeChat account of the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee released the work report of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government. This year, Chongqing will comprehensively expand domestic demand. Among them, efforts will continue to stabilize the real estate market. Eight major enhancement actions will be implemented to promote high-quality development of real estate, establish a "human, housing, land, and money" factor linkage mechanism, strengthen the disposal of "two long" projects, activate and utilize existing land and commercial office space, increase the acquisition of existing commercial housing, cultivate and develop the housing rental market, and ensure the successful completion of housing delivery. Reasonable control of new real estate land supply will be maintained, "good houses" will be built, the housing security system will be improved, property service quality will be enhanced, and a new model of real estate development will be promoted. In terms of deepening state-owned assets and state-owned enterprise reform, Chongqing will promote the integration of businesses in construction, real estate, hotels, and financial sectors, facilitate the transformation and exit of financing platforms, and cultivate first-class modern enterprises with strong market competitiveness. Major risk prevention and control will be strengthened in local debt, real estate, and finance. In urban construction, 163 projects will be rolled out, accelerating the construction of resettlement housing and supporting infrastructure
