# The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Radar Radio Management Regulations," which will take effect on January 1 of next year

The "Regulations" is China's first normative document on radar radio management, which will strongly promote the high-quality development of China's radar industry. Firstly, the "Regulations" combine the actual use of radar in China, technological development, and the resilience and security of the industrial and supply chains, encompassing 19 types of radar across 7 major categories in the frequency band below 100GHz, essentially achieving full coverage of the main types of radar currently in use in China. Secondly, it clarifies the frequency usage range and radio technical indicators for various types of radar, providing a clear policy basis for the standardization of radar equipment development, production, import, sales, and use. Thirdly, it optimizes the coordination procedures for radar radio management, simplifies the approval process, and effectively reduces the burden on users. Fourthly, it makes clear provisions regarding radar interference coordination, electromagnetic environment protection, inspection of operational stations, and equipment management, further standardizing radar radio management and ensuring electromagnetic space safety
