# Haixia Environmental Protection's subsidiary signs a concession agreement for the upgrading and expansion project of the urban sewage treatment plant in Shaxian District

According to the announcement from Haixia Environmental Protection (603817.SH), the People's Government of Shaxian District, Sanming City has approved the implementation of the Shaxian District Urban Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade and Expansion Project using the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model and has authorized the Sanming City Shaxian District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau as the project implementation agency, bidder, and contract signing entity. Recently, the company received the signed text of the "Franchise Agreement for the Shaxian District Urban Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade and Expansion Project" between the Sanming City Shaxian District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau and the company's holding subsidiary, Fujian Sanming Haihuan Environmental Water Co., Ltd. The total investment amount for the project is 114 million yuan
