# SANYOU CHEMICAL's subsidiary SANYOU Silicon Industry plans to increase capital and introduce investors, with a total fundraising amount not exceeding 200 million yuan

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SANYOU CHEMICAL (600409.SH) announced that its controlling subsidiary Tangshan Sanyou Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Sanyou Silicon Industry") plans to introduce no more than 2 investors (including 2) through a public listing for cash capital increase and expansion of shares, with a total fundraising amount not exceeding 200 million yuan (inclusive). The original shareholders of Sanyou Silicon Industry, namely the company and Tangshan Sanyou Chlor-Alkali Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Sanyou Chlor-Alkali"), will not participate in this capital increase.

The introduction of external investors in this capital increase and share expansion of Sanyou Silicon Industry can optimize its equity structure, enhance marketization, and facilitate the aggregation of external resources to jointly promote the sustainable and healthy development of the silicone industry, endowing new momentum and vitality to the development of the silicone industry; it is conducive to advancing the pace of mixed ownership and equity diversification reform of state-owned enterprises, continuously stimulating the internal vitality and development motivation of state-owned enterprises
