# A man was fined and confiscated over 280 million yuan for manipulating stocks including "ANNIL"

On March 14th, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) website released an administrative penalty decision: It was found that during the period in question, Yang Bo actually controlled multiple securities accounts, manipulating stocks such as "ANNIL" through means such as continuous trading, trading between accounts he controlled, ramping up prices, false declarations, and hitting the upper limit of price increases, with illegal gains totaling 140 million yuan. Based on the facts, nature, circumstances, and social harm of the violator's actions, and in accordance with Article 203 of the Securities Law of 2005, the CSRC decided to confiscate Yang Bo's illegal gains of 140 million yuan and impose a fine of 140 million yuan
