# CITIC Limited: Citic Press has recognized a total asset impairment loss of RMB 79.9196 million for the year 2024

According to the announcement from CITIC Limited (00267), in order to accurately reflect the financial status and asset value of CITIC Publishing Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), the Company conducted impairment testing on receivables, prepayments, inventories, and long-term equity investments that may show signs of impairment as of December 31, 2024, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Enterprise Accounting Standards" and the Company's accounting policies. Based on the principle of prudence, the Company has made provisions for asset impairment losses for assets that may incur impairment losses in 2024. The estimated total amount of impairment losses for various assets is RMB 79.9196 million
