The price of titanium dioxide has welcomed its third round of increases this year, while industry capacity continues to expand
Recently, the titanium dioxide industry has experienced a wave of price increases. Industry leader LB Group issued a price adjustment notice, stating that starting from March 21, the sales prices of various models of titanium dioxide will be increased by RMB 500 per ton for all domestic markets and by USD 70 per ton for international customers. Other domestic manufacturers have followed suit, including HYTY, CNNC TD, and ANDTY. As of March 24, a total of 18 titanium dioxide companies have issued price increase notices, with the same increase as LB Group. Overseas manufacturers have also announced price hikes, with Chemours stating that starting April 1, it will raise prices for all grades of titanium dioxide products sold in the Asia-Pacific region by USD 100 per ton. Titanium dioxide companies generally indicated in their price adjustment notices that the price increase is mainly based on the current market situation and the supply status of raw and auxiliary materials
