CANNY plans to sell 100% equity of Guangdong CANNY for 343 million yuan

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CANNY (002367.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Suzhou Xinda Elevator Components Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Suzhou Xinda" or "the transferor") has signed a "Share Acquisition Agreement" with Zhongshan Xiwai Construction Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xiwai Jiantou," "the counterparty," or "the transferee") and Guangdong CANNY Elevator Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "wholly-owned subsidiary," "Guangdong CANNY," "target company," or "target asset"). Suzhou Xinda intends to transfer 100% equity of the target company to the transferee for 343 million yuan.

The announcement stated that under the new circumstances of the elevator industry, the company continues to promote its high-quality development strategy, which includes actively advancing refined management, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, and disposing of inefficient assets. The company is actively reorganizing capacity resources, including gradually transferring the original production resources of Guangdong CANNY to Guangdong Guangdu Elevator Components Co., Ltd., the Jiangsu Wujiang headquarters, and other regional production bases, and has rearranged business, personnel, and fixed assets. While ensuring the overall normal operation of the company, Guangdong CANNY has continuously leased out some idle factories, office spaces, and living areas.
