# April 15th Midday Review: Three major indices slightly declined, while the consumer sector remained active

The market experienced fluctuations and adjustments in the morning, with the three major indices slightly declining. The consumer sector remained active, with the millet economy and food sectors leading the gains, as stocks such as Chuangyuan Co., Hongxing Co., Huanlejia, and Jinzhai Food hit the daily limit. Solid-state battery concept stocks strengthened, with Lingpai Technology, Yuyuan New Materials, and Jinlongyu reaching the daily limit. On the downside, agricultural stocks fell, with BATIAN dropping over 8%. Most individual stocks declined, with over 4,100 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing losses. The morning trading volume was 706.9 billion, a decrease of over 150 billion compared to the same time yesterday. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.07%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 0.43%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 0.29%
