# Xizang Weixinkang Pharmaceutical's subsidiary, Amber Acetylated Gelatin Electrolyte Sodium Acetate Injection, has been approved for clinical trials

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Xizang Weixinkang Pharmaceutical (603676.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Inner Mongolia Baiyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Baiyi Pharmaceutical") has received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration (referred to as "NMPA") for the Succinylated Gelatin Electrolytes Sodium Acetate Injection.

The Succinylated Gelatin Electrolytes Sodium Acetate Injection declared by Baiyi Pharmaceutical is developed based on the reference preparation Succinylated Gelatin Electrolytes Injection certified by B.Braun Melsungen AG. This product serves as a colloidal plasma volume substitute dissolved in isotonic electrolyte balanced solution, used for: 1. Treatment of relative or absolute hypovolemia and shock. 2. As a component of infusion fluid in conjunction with crystalloid solutions during the process of extracorporeal circulation (e.g., cardiopulmonary bypass)
