The three major indices of A-shares opened lower and then moved individually within a narrow range, with the Shanghai Composite Index briefly above 3,300 points. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 8 points or 0.3% for the day, closing at 3,299 points, with a turnover of 452.7 billion yuan. The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 9,870 points, down 35 points or 0.4%, with a turnover of 637.3 billion yuan.
