# Xizang Weixinkang Pharmaceutical's subsidiary has received the clinical trial approval notice for the drug

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Xizang Weixinkang Pharmaceutical (603676.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Inner Mongolia Baiyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Baiyi Pharmaceutical") has received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" approved and issued by the National Medical Products Administration (referred to as "NMPA") for the injection of succinyl gelatin.

It is reported that this product is a colloidal volume substitute used for: 1. Treatment of relative or absolute hypovolemia and shock. 2. Prevention of hypotension. Prevention of hypotension that may occur after spinal or epidural anesthesia, and prevention of hypotension caused by significant blood loss during surgery. 3. Used in conjunction with crystalloid solutions as a component of infusion fluids participating in the extracorporeal circulation process (e.g., cardiopulmonary bypass)
