# The textile sector surged! SUNVIM: Customer orders are accelerating backflow

The textile sector has been strong for several consecutive days. On May 15th, many stocks in the sector hit the daily limit, with Huafang Co., Ltd. achieving 6 limit-ups in 8 days, Yingfeng Co., Ltd. hitting 5 consecutive limit-ups, and Fengzhu Textile reaching the daily limit. The secretary of the board of directors of domestic home textile leader SUNVIM, Peng Shiqiang, told reporters on May 15th: "The tariff rate on textiles has been reduced from 145% to 46.6%. Although it is still about 20 percentage points higher than competitors like India, we are seeing a rapid return of overseas customer orders due to our years of accumulated market reputation." Peng Shiqiang stated that U.S. customers who had previously suspended orders due to tariffs have gradually resumed cooperation, "and we expect the shipment volume in June to return to the level of the same period in previous years."
