CAC: Plans to invest USD 150 million to build a pesticide and functional chemicals project in Egypt

CAC announced that the 18th meeting of the third board of directors reviewed and approved the proposal on external investment for the construction of pesticide and functional chemical projects, agreeing to invest no more than USD 150 million in Egypt using its own and raised funds. The expected construction period is 2 years. The total investment for the project will not exceed USD 150 million, with funding sourced from the company's own funds and bank loans. This project aligns with the national "Belt and Road" development strategy, helps enhance the company's delivery efficiency and service responsiveness in overseas markets, optimizes the company's capacity layout, and promotes the enhancement of the company's core competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities
