# PHENIX OPTICS plans to invest in a production base in Vietnam for the manufacturing and assembly of optoelectronic products

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, PHENIX OPTICS (600071.SH) has stated that in order to meet the diversified supply chain requirements of overseas customers and to extend and expand the existing industrial chain, the company plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, PHENIX OPTICS (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Vietnam Company"), in Vietnam using its own funds, based on its overall strategic planning. The Vietnam Company will invest in the construction of a production base in Vietnam, primarily engaged in the manufacturing and assembly of optoelectronic products. The total investment amount is USD 8.5 million, mainly used for factory renovation, equipment procurement, and working capital
