# HWPC's subsidiary raw material magnesium sulfate has received approval for its listing application

According to the announcement from Warner Pharmaceuticals (688799.SH), its wholly-owned subsidiary Hunan Warner Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Chiral Drugs") has received the "Approval Notice for the Market Application of Chemical Raw Materials" for magnesium sulfate issued by the National Medical Products Administration, which has been published on the "Raw and Auxiliary Material Registration Information" platform of the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration.

The announcement indicates that magnesium sulfate is one of the raw materials for the concentrated oral solution of sodium and potassium magnesium sulfate and magnesium sulfate injection. The concentrated oral solution of sodium and potassium magnesium sulfate is suitable for adults and is used for bowel cleansing before any procedures that require bowel visualization (such as endoscopy, radiological examinations, and surgical operations). Magnesium sulfate injection can be used as an anticonvulsant for pregnancy-induced hypertension to lower blood pressure, treat preeclampsia and eclampsia, and can also be used for the treatment of preterm labor
