# Hainan plans to update 1,708 old elevators in residential communities this year

On June 23, reporters learned from the Hainan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development that Hainan is continuously promoting the upgrading and improvement of old equipment in urban residential communities. This year, the province has arranged for the update of 1,708 old elevators, and the 256 million yuan of ultra-long-term special government bond funds to support the upgrade of old elevators has been approved and allocated, with the aim of starting all upgrade work this year
