The three major A-share indices of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges rose by 1.2% to 2.3% throughout the day, with the Shanghai Composite Index regaining above 3,400 points, and Xiaomi's automotive concept stocks surged

The People's Bank of China today (24th) conducted a 406.5 billion yuan (the same below) seven-day reverse repurchase operation in the open market, with the operation interest rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 197.3 billion yuan of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net injection of 209.2 billion yuan for the day. The central parity rate of the yuan against the US dollar was reported at 7.1656, up 54 points, reaching a new high since November last year.

As geopolitical risks ease, the three major A-share indices performed well, with the Shanghai Composite Index rising above the 3,400-point level. The SSE Index rose 38 points or 1.2%, closing at 3,420 points, with a turnover of 544.9 billion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index rose 169 points or 1.7%, closing at 10,217 points, with a turnover of 869.7 billion yuan; the ChiNext Index rose 46 points or 2.3%, closing at 2,064 points, with a turnover of 441.7 billion yuan.

Domestic bank stocks, China Construction Bank (601939.SH) and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH), rose by 0.3% and 1.5%, respectively. Domestic insurance stocks also increased, with Ping An Insurance (601318.SH), China Life (601628.SH), and China Pacific Insurance (601601.SH) rising between 2.3% and 3.3%.

International oil and gold prices fell, leading to declines in gold stocks, with Shandong Gold (600547.SH), Zhongjin Gold (600489.SH), and Chifeng Jilong Gold (600988.SH) dropping between 1.3% and 4.5%. Among oil stocks, PetroChina (601857.SH) and CNOOC (600938.SH) fell by 1.4% and 2.2%, respectively.

Oil, gas, and shipping stocks retreated, with ShenKAI Co., Ltd. (002278.SZ) giving back 3%. Shandong Molong (002490.SZ), China Merchants Energy (601975.SH), and Xingtong Co., Ltd. (603209.SH) all hit the daily limit down.

Xiaomi automotive concept stocks rose, with Hi-Tech (301022.SZ) increasing by 14.6%. Kaizhong Co., Ltd. (603037.SH), Jinrong Tianyu (300988.SZ), and New Tiger (301229.SZ) rose by 5.2% to 6.1%. The Xiaomi YU7 will be officially released on Thursday (26th).

In addition, BYD (002594.SZ) rose by 1.5%. CATL (300750.SZ) also increased by 2.6%
