# ANKE BIO: AK2024 injection clinical trial approved

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, ANKE BIO (300009.SZ) announced that the company has received the "Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice" for "AK2024 Injection" issued by the National Medical Products Administration. The National Medical Products Administration has agreed to conduct clinical trials of this product as a monotherapy in HER2-positive advanced solid tumors.

The announcement shows that AK2024 is an anti-HER2 antibody selected through a functional detection method based on trastuzumab, which selectively acts on the extracellular region of the human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) and has a different antigen recognition epitope from the epitopes bound by trastuzumab or pertuzumab. Preclinical studies indicate that AK2024 can inhibit the proliferation of HER2-positive tumor cells, has a synergistic pharmacological effect with trastuzumab, and is superior to pertuzumab in promoting the anti-tumor synergistic effect of trastuzumab
