Hubei's power load hits a record high, Hubei Energy fully opens thermal power to ensure supply

According to HEGC, entering July, due to the stable control of the subtropical high pressure, Hubei Province has welcomed the first round of widespread sunny and hot weather this summer, with maximum temperatures reaching above 38 degrees Celsius, and locally exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, leading to strong demand for electricity. On July 4th, the load of the Hubei power grid set a new historical high, with seven cities including Xiangyang, Yichang, Jingzhou, Jingmen, Ezhou, Suizhou, and Shiyan reaching record electricity loads. All 10 thermal power units of Hubei Energy are operating at full capacity, playing a key role in stabilizing power supply and enhancing system regulation capabilities
