On Thursday, July 10th, the A-shares experienced a volatile rise, with the three major indices slightly up. The Shanghai Composite Index once again stood above 3,500 points, with active sectors including rare earths, photovoltaics, and large finance, while military stocks adjusted. The Hong Kong stock market also saw fluctuations and rises, with both the Hang Seng Technology Index and the Hang Seng Index rebounding, and Apple concept stocks bouncing back. In terms of commodities, domestic commodity futures rose across the board. In the bond market, government bond futures fell. Core market trends:

In terms of news, on July 9, multiple silicon wafer companies raised their silicon wafer prices, with price increases ranging from 8% to 11.7% for different sizes of wafers. According to data released today by the Silicon Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the average transaction price of silicon materials has generally increased by over 6% week-on-week.

In terms of news, according to the latest equity disclosure information from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on July 3, 2025, CATL's H shares were increased by JPMorgan Chase & Co. by 851,600 shares at an average price of HKD 340.638 per share, involving approximately HKD 290 million.

JP Morgan stated that CATL remains its top choice in the Chinese battery supply chain, although it does not rule out the possibility of a pullback given the significant short-term gains. Morgan Stanley has also raised the target prices for CATL's H shares and A shares by 14%, stating that it is a "game changer" in the Internet of Things sector. CATL's recent outstanding performance is attributed to better-than-expected production prospects for July and anticipated strong performance in the second quarter.
