# ZZEPC: Power generation in the first half of the year increased by 4.48% year-on-year

According to the announcement from ZZEPC (600023.SH), the company reported that in the first half of 2025, its wholly-owned and controlled power generation enterprises achieved a power generation volume of 7,884,848.66 million kWh and an on-grid electricity volume of 7,469,807.10 million kWh, representing year-on-year increases of 4.48% and 4.57%, respectively. The reasons for the increase in the company's electricity volume are mainly: (1) the growth of total electricity consumption in Zhejiang Province; (2) the increase in power generation from Zhejiang Zhongmei Zhoushan Coal Power Co., Ltd. (Units 3 and 4 of the Liu Heng Phase II project are scheduled to be put into operation in July 2024 and November 2024, respectively)
