According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, Xinguang Optic-Electronics (688011.SH) stated that its shareholder, Harbin Institute of Technology Education Development Foundation, plans to further support the educational cause of Harbin Institute of Technology due to business needs. It intends to reduce its holdings of the company's shares by no more than 1 million shares through centralized bidding within three months after the announcement of this reduction plan, with a reduction ratio not exceeding 1% of the company's total share capital; it also plans to reduce its holdings of the company's shares by no more than 2 million shares through block trading, with a reduction ratio not exceeding 2% of the company's total share capital
