National Bureau of Statistics: Focus on creating new growth poles for green development, continuously enhancing the "green content" of economic development
On August 15th, Fu Linghui, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics, stated that in response to the major trend of green and low-carbon development, China is striving to create new growth poles for green development, achieving significant results, with the "green content" of economic development continuously improving. In July, the production of new energy vehicles and lithium-ion batteries increased by 17.1% and 29.4% year-on-year, respectively, while the production of green materials such as carbon fiber and bio-based chemical fibers increased by 43.8% and 19.8%, respectively. The green transformation has also created favorable opportunities for the development of the green circular industry, with the added value of the waste resource comprehensive utilization industry increasing by 11.7% year-on-year in July
