# CITIC Construction Investment: Battery manufacturers are advancing technology rapidly, and the downstream application scenarios for solid-state batteries are gradually expanding

CITIC Construction Investment stated that GOTION announced that the company's solid-state battery "Jinshi Battery" is in the pilot production stage, and has also initiated the design work for the mass production line of all-solid-state batteries. GOTION is making rapid progress in the field of solid-state batteries. Additionally, in the early stages of solid-state battery development, due to high prices, it is generally believed that the penetration rate in the energy storage field will increase slowly, as energy storage is extremely sensitive to cost factors. Recently, NARADA won a bid for a semi-solid battery energy storage project that exceeded market expectations. NARADA announced that it successfully secured an independent energy storage project order with a total capacity of up to 2.8GWh. This is also the largest semi-solid battery energy storage project in the world to date. The project will use NARADA's independently developed 314Ah semi-solid battery, marking the first commercial application of solid-state battery technology in domestic gigawatt-hour level energy storage projects. Solid-state battery technology can address the core demands for "absolute safety" and "long-term reliability" in large-scale energy storage
