The supply and demand are tight in the medium to long term, and the price of glyphosate continues to rise
Since May this year, the price of glyphosate raw materials has continued to rise. According to data from Zhongnong Lihua, as of August 24, domestic demand for glyphosate raw materials has been stocked, and export orders are being delivered. The market expects a slight increase, with a quotation of 27,500 yuan/ton for 95% purity and 28,000 yuan/ton for 97% purity, an increase of about 20% compared to early May. From the supply and demand perspective, Baichuan Yingfu data shows that as of August 24, the weekly production of glyphosate was 8,600 tons, an increase of 18.71% compared to the previous week; the weekly inventory of glyphosate was 27,800 tons, a decrease of 700 tons compared to the previous week. It is worth noting that despite the significant increase in production, inventory continues to decline, reflecting a sustained tight supply situation, which provides strong support for future prices
