# Junxin's subsidiary signs investment agreement for solid waste technology disposal and power generation project in Almaty

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Junxin Co., Ltd. (301109.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Junxin Environmental Protection (Almaty) Co., Ltd. recently signed an investment agreement for the solid waste technology disposal and power generation project in Almaty City, Republic of Kazakhstan, with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Both parties have reached a cooperation agreement regarding the investment in the solid waste technology disposal and power generation project in Almaty City, Republic of Kazakhstan. If the project is successfully implemented, it will have a positive impact on the company's subsequent operating performance.

The investment agreement specifies that the planned scale for the solid waste technology disposal and power generation project in Almaty City is no less than 2,000 tons/day. If the project progresses smoothly, it will be another significant achievement for the company in expanding its overseas market, especially in Central Asia, following the successful acquisition of the franchise for the waste technology disposal and power generation project in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2024, the signing of the framework agreement for the Osh City waste technology disposal project with the government of Osh City in March 2025, and the signing of the framework agreement for the Issyk-Kul waste technology disposal project (Karakol City and Balykchy City) with the representative office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul Province in May 2025. This will help expand the company's overseas business footprint, find new breakthroughs in a relatively saturated and competitive domestic market environment, provide new performance growth points for the company, enhance the international influence of the company's brand, and improve the company's profitability and core competitiveness
