# DBN Group's subsidiary has been approved for soybean planting license in Argentina

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, DBN Group (002385.SZ) announced that on September 8, 2025, local time in Argentina, the Argentine Ministry of Economy published on its official website that the genetically modified insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant soybean transformation event DBN8205 (DBN-Ø82Ø5-8), developed by its holding subsidiary Beijing DBN Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "DBN Biotechnology"), has passed the safety evaluation review and has officially been granted planting permission.

The insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant soybean transformation event DBN8205 will be genetically stacked with the already approved insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant soybean transformation event DBN8002, forming an upgraded insect-resistant product that has a good control effect on major lepidopteran pests in low-latitude areas. The upgraded product will provide partners and soybean growers with richer and more competitive trait products and technical services
