LK's subsidiary plans to invest 2.391 billion yuan to construct the Mami Cuo source network and energy storage integrated energy station project

LK announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Zijin Longjing plans to invest 2.391 billion yuan to construct the Mami Cuo source network load storage integrated energy station project to meet the power needs of the lithium-boron mining project. The project includes photovoltaic and electrochemical energy storage facilities, aiming to build a clean and low-carbon modern energy system, support the sustainable development of the mining area, and enhance the company's market competitiveness
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Longjing Environmental Protection (600388.SH) announced that the Mami Cuo Salt Lake is located in Mami Township, Ge'ermu County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, and is one of the few salt lakes in the world with lithium resources exceeding one million tons. Tibet Ali Mami Cuo Mining Development Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Mami Cuo Mining") plans to invest in the construction of the lithium-boron mining project in the Mami Cuo Salt Lake mining area (referred to as the "Lithium-Boron Mining Project"). Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zijin Mining") holds a controlling subsidiary, Cangge Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cangge Mining"), which indirectly holds 26.95% of the shares in Mami Cuo Mining.
Due to the weak local power grid and low total power capacity for the Lithium-Boron Mining Project, in order to meet the energy supply needs of the project and promote the construction of a new energy power system in Mami Cuo, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Zijin Longjing intends to invest in the construction of the Mami Cuo source-network-load-storage integrated energy station project (in BOO form), with a total investment of approximately 2.391 billion yuan, including about 1.05 billion yuan for the photovoltaic area, approximately 1.287 billion yuan for the integrated energy station (1650MWH electrochemical energy storage), and other expenses of about 54 million yuan.
This project is an important measure for the company to achieve deep integration of photovoltaic, energy storage, and AI technology, establishing an integrated intelligent operation and maintenance system for "air, land, and space." The project will build a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient modern energy system, providing stable power supply support for the subsequent "dark factory" production in the mining area. At the same time, the implementation of the project can further expand the company's clean energy power generation business scale, inject sustainable profit growth points into the company, and strengthen market competitiveness
